At CAIR, we have long recognized that protecting these fundamental rights is essential not only for American Muslims but for all Americans.
Community Safety
Through this program, CAIR-MN offers resources to help mosques and Islamic centers enhance their safety and security. This includes a “Community Safety Kit,” hate crime reporting support, and safety training to protect community spaces.
Civic & Political Engagement
CAIR-MN encourages the Muslim community to actively participate in civic and political life. They organize voter registration drives, host town halls, and run advocacy campaigns to empower people to stand up for their rights.
Youth & Leadership Development
CAIR-MN runs leadership development programs for youth, offering mentorship, internships, and youth-centered workshops and conferences to support their personal and professional growth.
Education & Interfaith Initiatives
Through education and interfaith dialogue, CAIR-MN works to raise awareness about Islam and the Muslim community. This includes “Islam 101” presentations, interfaith events, and educational workshops in schools, workplaces, and community spaces.
