CAIR-Minnesota Muslim Youth Leadership Program (MYLP) Summer Academy 2025
The CAIR-Minnesota Muslim Youth Leadership Program (MYLP) Summer Academy 2025 is a five-week leadership experience for high school students passionate about careers in law, government, or journalism. Participants select one track—Law & Legal Justice, Government & Public Leadership, or Journalism & Media—and engage in virtual evening courses, in-person events, guest speaker sessions, and hands-on simulations like a mock trial or Senate hearing. Orientation is on Saturday, July 19, with virtual classes from July 21 to August 13, in-person capstone activities the week of August 11, and a Graduation Celebration on August 16.
Applications open June 26 and close July 18, or earlier if tracks fill. Program fee is $40, with scholarships and volunteer-hour waivers available.
